Meet the agents: Richard Cook and Janey van Ierland

What happens behind the scenes between an actor and the next big role? Richard Cook and Janey van Ierland bring two very different perspectives on talent representation and career building. Co-founder of the Lisa Richards Agency and founder of Ireland’s influential Subtitle Film Festival, Richard has spent decades connecting actors with the international casting community. Janey, who founded her own talent agency before moving to Netflix as a content executive, has returned to talent management with a fresh perspective on the relationship between talent,
projects, and the industry. Together, they open up the world of representation, sharing insights into discovering talent, building careers, and navigating an everchanging international film landscape.
