Project Pitching: Midpoint Series Launch

MIDPOINT Series Launch is one of the prominent trainings where nine creative teams have spent the past nine months bringing original series ideas to life. This year’s selected projects span multiple countries and genres: Bloody Bay (UK/Greece/France), The Man Behind a Mask (Latvia), We Are Still Here (Poland), Safe House (Belgium), Kafka (Czechia/Slovakia), The Genesis Project (UK/Croatia/Czechia), 25 Percent (Czechia), Isle of Ref (Slovenia), and Ann Was Here (Estonia). Their stories span genres and themes such as psychological suspense, family drama, comedy, social justice, identity and alienation, and mythologized reality. Along this journey, they were accompanied by three Development Executive Trainees — Mert Dilek (Turkey/UK), Inja Korać (Croatia), and Elena Tarashchanskaya (Finland) — who gained hands-on
experience in shaping the creative process. At the end of this intensive program, both the projects and the trainees will be presented to the industry audience in Tallinn.
