The Tallinn Industry Academy is an intensive training program aimed at empowering and supporting young professionals in the independent film industry, particularly in the areas of film circulation, including online and traditional distribution, sales, marketing, exhibition, promotion, and festival programming. This workshop serves as a gateway for a new generation of filmmakers and industry practitioners, fostering their development, enhancing their understanding of industry challenges, and expanding their professional networks. Designed for individuals working with boutique markets (small to medium-sized), this program is ideal for those eager to enhance their skills and broaden their connections in sales, marketing, distribution, exhibition, and programming/curating. It is especially beneficial for participants who are already part of an established company or possess significant experience in these fields. The 5-day program offers an immersive learning experience, combining lectures and panel discussions with practical tasks. Thirteen young and emerging professionals from the field of circulation will engage deeply with panels and lectures led by seasoned industry experts. Each session is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and valuable connections to help advance their careers.
