Submissions are now open for the Baltic Event Co-Production Market, the leading international co-production platform in Northern Europe, a part of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event. The upcoming edition will once again present the prestigious Eurimages Co-Production Development Award and continue accepting youth and children’s film projects.
All eligible projects submitted to the market will have the opportunity to compete for the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award. This award includes a non-reimbursable grant of €20,000, designated exclusively for the development of feature-length fiction, animation, or youth documentary co-productions.
Following the success of the past few years, the market will again also highlight projects for younger audiences, welcoming full-length fiction, documentary, and animated films for children and youth.
Since its launch in 2002, the market has showcased more than 400 projects. Many of these have gained international recognition and screened at major film festivals. One recent example is Vesna by Rostislav Kirpičenko, presented at the Baltic Event Co-Production Market 2025, which has been selected for the Official Selection of the 79th Cannes Film Festival.
Over the years, projects from the market have gone on to screen at leading festivals such as Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Warsaw Film Festival, Cairo International Film Festival, and Tribeca Festival – with several earning Oscar and Golden Globe nominations.
Organised annually since 2005, the Baltic Event Co-Production Market supports feature film projects mainly from small and medium-sized production companies in countries with low to medium audiovisual production capacity. Eligible regions include Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, North Macedonia, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine, and this year’s Spotlight Country – the Basque Country. Projects from other regions are also welcome, provided they are actively seeking co-production partners from the countries mentioned above.
In 2026, the 25th edition of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event will take place from 9-20 November. The Baltic Event Co-Production Market dates are 18-20 November.
The deadline for project submissions is 14 July 2026.
