Eight projects have been chosen for the 12th European Genre Forum, a six-month development programme aimed at emerging European genre filmmakers. The selected projects represent eight different countries.

The programme begins with the Screenwritting & Directing Lab, held from 2–5 July in Zagreb during the Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival. It continues with the Producing Lab in Amsterdam from 2–6 November, at the Imagine Fantastic Film Festival. The final stage, the Marketing and Packaging Lab, will take place from 16–20 November in Tallinn, as part of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event at the Black Nights Film Festival.
