On Friday, 21 November, Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event concludes on a high note with a packed agenda that centers on Works in Progress, youth film conversations from Just Film Industy Days, engaging panel talks and open sessions from the Discovery Campus. It’s a day for creators, producers, and emerging talent to connect, get inspired, and go forward on their projects.

Works in Progress: Final Showcases
The Works in Progress programme continues, featuring films in production or post-production. The programme continues to showcase films currently in production or post-production and seeking sales agents or festival premieres, introduces 18 promising projects across three categories: Baltic Event Works in Progress, International Works in Progress, and Just Film Works in Progress. The lineup features both debut filmmakers and acclaimed directors presenting their latest works.

Project Pitching: Baltic Event Works In Progress / 21st November, 09:30, Apollo Kino Plaza, 2. Hall
Each project will be pitched by filmmakers, followed by selected clips from the film to further expand the potential of the project. The sessions help sales agents and festival programmers to gain a deeper understanding of each film’s visual style and tone.

Each project will be pitched by filmmakers, followed by selected clips from the film to further expand the potential of the project. The sessions help sales agents and festival programmers to gain a deeper understanding of each film’s visual style and tone.

Just Film Industry Days: Children & Youth Film in Focus
As part of the Just Film Industry Days running through 19–21 November, Friday marks a key moment for projects aimed at younger audiences. Pitching, case studies, and industry talks continue: this is where the future of children’s and youth cinema gets shaped, with creators, producers, and festival curators exchanging ideas and seeking partners.

This session will give some ideas and different approaches for projects on smaller or micro budgets. Niko Remus and Katriel Schory will discuss this topic from two different angles: the producers' and the post-production perspective.

A screening of the Norwegian film 'The Emigrant,' followed by a presentation from cinematographer John Christian Rosenlund on his groundbreaking work using LEDs for practical fire effects.

BAFTA-winning, Emmy-nominated composer Atli Örvarsson (Silo, Rams, Defending Jacob) holds masterclass moderated by Estonian composer Ardo Ran Varres, featuring case studies on his film Rams and TV series Silo.
